This website shares information about my design services and my personal practice and portfolio as a sole trader, designer and public artist. Please read these terms before using the site. This site offers you access to my services and allows you to get in touch with me. I sometimes need to collect a small amount of personal information. I want you to know exactly what that means, so for any further clarification please do not hesitate to contact me directly. The content on this website is shared to help you understand my design services and get in touch with me. Everything here is for general information only. It should not be taken as legal, financial or technical advice.
What information I collect
I only collect information that you choose to share with me. This usually happens when you:

The information is normally your name, your email address and whatever you write to me including any information about your project details.
How I use your information
I use this information so I can reply to your messages, prepare quotes or support you with any design service you are interested in. I do not use your personal details for anything unrelated, and I do not sell or trade your information. I also do not share our working relationship with anyone else unless you have given me clear permission. I use social media to promote my work and to share collaborations, but I only publish project-related content if you have confirmed that you are comfortable with it.
Working together
If you would like to work with me, the process always begins with a personal conversation. You can reach out through my contact form or by email at sara@depetrisdesign.art. From there I will prepare a tailored response and discuss the brief and conditions before providing any written quote that outlines the scope of work, the timeline and the cost. I offer a paid meeting to discuss your brief and explore creative directions before we agree to continue working together. Work on your project only begins once we both agree to the quote by email.
Artistic collaboration vs design services
An artistic collaboration is different from offering design services. I will only speak of a collaboration publicly if we agree to work together on a project in defined roles where my name and contribution are credited alongside yours. In all other cases our relationship is a design service relationship. This means the rights to the project belong fully to you and my involvement is offered as professional, chargeable design assistance. Intellectual property
All text, images, drawings and designs shown on this website belong to me unless clearly stated otherwise. Please do not copy, reuse or distribute any content without my written permission. If we work together, the ownership of the final design files will be clearly explained in your quote. I may ask to showcase the work I have completed for you and will always credit you as my customer. I will only share this material if you give me permission.

Sometimes I may include links to external websites or tools. These are there for your convenience, but I cannot take responsibility for the content, policies or practices of those sites.
Limitation of liability
I do my best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date. Still, I cannot guarantee that everything will always be error free. I am not responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from how the site is used or from relying on its content.
