I’ve spent enough time in the creative process to know how quickly it can pull you in, or how it can lift you up with energy and excitement, and just as easily tangle you up in self-doubt, procrastination, and endless overthinking. One day you’re full of ideas, and the next, you’re questioning everything.

It’s easy to get caught in that loop, chasing perfection, second-guessing, holding back because it doesn’t feel quite ready yet. That’s the devil’s circle of creativity. When we keep our ideas locked away, they grow heavy. And the longer we hold them in, the harder it is to let them out.

But something shifts when we start to share.
Not just the finished piece, but the process. The rough bits. The “I’m not sure this even makes sense yet” parts. Sharing reminds us that we’re not alone in it and that creative work, at its core, is about connection. Seeing someone else working through their own ideas can be the push we need to take the next step on ours. It sparks something. It gives us permission to begin again.

That’s why I’ve created this space. I have been there and I needed a place to think out loud, to explore what it means to live a creative life, and to keep showing up even when it feels hard. My blog is where I unpack my process, share inspiration, and reflect on all the beautifully messy parts of making something from nothing.
